Short CGI founder Chris Guerin had lead the team that created the training content for the Typhoon EJ200 jet engine. Following the Computer Based Training (CBT) delivered for the RAF, word of its success spread across the industry. Subsequently, BAE Systems commissioned Short CGI to create training material for the Airframe.
We re-created a 3D model of the one and two-seater Typhoon with livery for both Royal Air Force (RAF) and the Saudi Royal Air Force (SRAF). We subsequently worked with Manchester based agency WRG on the Typhoon sales presentation to the Saudi Prince at BAE Warton. The event used CGI models to create an amazing animated sequence as a prelude to real aircraft reveal.
